Here are 2 more cards I made using images from Mystical & Magical Image swap.

The first one has another Knobly Gnome. I colored him with markers, versamarked and embossed with clear EP.

Then I brayered the background with So Safron, Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie. The ground was done with Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive and a bit of Briliance Dew Drops- Pearl Thyme. The sentiment (Best Wishes) is done in Pearl Thyme that’s why it’s so sparkly.

The mermaid stamp is from Coronado Island stamps. She was also colored with markers and embossed with clear EP.

The background was sponged with Bashful Blue, Tempting Turquoise and various greens.  Then I stamped the plant from Inque boutique to create the underwater scene.

A bit of ribbon, dew drops and it’s done.

I was hosting a Mystical and Magical Image Swap on SCS and I got this adorable gnome (and more) from it. So when I saw Michele Zindorf’s card made with the same image I had to try it too. The picture came out a bit “blah” - it’s brighter in real :) Didn’t do so many layers as Michelle, used a bit different colors and added the ribbon to the bottom.

These are the cards I made for Penny Black card swap on SCS. It’s a criss-cross card - you can find the tutorial here.

The images and sentiments are from Penny Black stamp set called Bubbly. Papers are all Stampin Up - Urban Garden DP, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Basic Grey CS. Images are colored with inks and aquapainter. Hope everybody will like them.

I participated in a Roun Robin Card Kit Swap on SCS recently and here are some cards I made with the kits I picked. The first kit was made by KristiK and I loved the combination of chocalate brown with soft pink and green. I colored the cupcake with my new Prismacolor pencils (don’t have the OMS yet, so I just used different colors for shading).

The second kit was made by traceyc0103 and picked it because I envisioned it like a funny valentine card. And I realized I don’t have ANY Valentine stamps or images - maybe because I just started stamping last spring ;)

So I colored the card red, added some heart brads and stamped the Valentine saying.

I really like this set and I didn’t use this set for a long time - so now when I finally got it out I made not one but two cards.

Making the central image is easy for me - finishing the card with all the layers and embelishment is hard - I had to push myself to get it done :)

For the first one I brayered the sky (Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze) and sponged the water (Baja Breeze, Not quite Navy). Then I stamped and colored the images - the birds have some silver on them and the card borders too (hard to see on the image). Water marks are done with white gel pen. I don’t have any circle punches (have to fix that in near future) that’s why are the circles a bit uneven…

This second one was done a different way.. the images were stamped, colored and embossed first, then I sponged the sky (Soft Sky).

The card base is more coral than pink, but I think it looks good with the image.

I have a whole bunch of wonderful stamped images from Sammysue1975, so I just have to use another one. This one is from Rubbernecker’s Safari collection. I colored the cub with markers and aquapainter, then embossed the whole images with clear EP. Sponged the background with Baja Breeze, distressed the edges and stamped some more grass on background layers. Inked the edges with Old Olive to give the card more earthy/rough feel. ;)

I pulled out my brayer after a long time and wanted to create something cool and “Zindorfian”. Didn’t happen. I don’t know what am I doing wrong - maybe I’m not using the right stamps or don’t know the technique or have the wrong kind of paper… or maybe the problem is that I’m not Michelle Zindorf.. hehe

It’s not all bad I guess, it’s just not what I imagined.

I brayered the top and bottom with bashful blue then baja breeze. Stamped the tree (Lovely as a tree set) several times in different colors (old olive, close to cocoa, baja breeze) on the left side and a bit of tree on the top right, then the birds in  the middle. I had to color the bird with black marker as they didn’t look even. Sponged the bottom corners with Old Olive and Close to Cocoa and added some white marks to the water with white gel pen. The panels are layered with Black and Old Olive.

I’m tired of this cold weather so I pulled out my Bella Rose papers and decided to make something fresh- spring like. So we made this pinwheel/flower/star - tutorial is somewhere on SCS, just don’t remember where. “We” means my 6-year old DD and me :) so not all edges are perfect - but we had fun. Then we glued some punched out flowers in the middle, layered it and a fresh looking card is done - no stamping required ;)

Another card to my Wonderful Wings collection -  same style as before, just different colors. The dragonfly is colored with aquapainter and inks (tempting turquoise and old olive). For background I used So Safron, Summer Sun and More Mustard inks.

I think I like the pink and red butterfly cards more - but not everybody likes pink and red… right?
