I’ve seen this kind of card holders a long time ago and didn’t know how to make them. So when I found this tutorial I had to make the whole set. I used images from Down By the Pond set (The Greeting Farm) for all of them.

They all have a similar color scheme starting with Kiwi Kiss/Baja Breeze CS. The plant stamps are from Inque Boutique Silhouettes stamp set.

All the images are colored with Prismacolor Pencils, backgrounds are sponged. The glittery greeting and butterfly are rub-ons.

The swirly background is a white CS embossed with Divine Swirls (or something like it) folder and then brayered with blue ink (Baja Breeze) on the debossed/wrong  side. This came out a bit messy, so I guess I need more practice ;)

I had this Anya image colored for some time, just somehow didn’t use it for a card. So when I saw this card in sgtStamper’s gallery (today’s Featured Stamper on SCS) I knew I have to CASE this one and finally use my Riding Hood Anya.

I used the same layout, just changed the Anya and the colors and used only 2 flowers instead of 3.

Papers are from Autumn Leaves - Pretty Poppies collection, Flowers are Petaloo Glittered Dahlias (the white one was sponged with Riding Hood Red ink). The Anya was colored with Prismacolor pencils.

This is my first Anya card - aren’t these stamps cute? The geisha is one of the digital ones. I used the Basic Grey- Sultry papers and picked the colors for the image from them.

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and Goo Gone (no OMS yet) - one of my first attemps too. Coloring with pencils and stumps is fun, just takes a long time.
