This week’s challenge on House Mouse Challenge blog is set by Stacy :~ The Movies.
So we need to create a card using a movie title as an inspiration.

Now I hope nobody will get offended but every time when I look at this Mouseful of Fudge image it reminds me of Homer Simpson - you know how he always stuffs himself and has a big full belly and can barely move - I can imagine this mousie making the same gulping sound as Homer when it gobbles up all the fudge ;)

So here is my card inspired (in some  funny - twisted way) by the Simpsons ;)

The image is colored with a mix of Prisma pencils and Copics and the papers are from Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. I added some machine stitching for extra detail. The “Homer” mousie is popped up to give him more dimension. LOL!

It’s that time of the year - fall is coming and apple pickings with it.. so hurry up to your gardens or orchards until the little “helpers” pick everything for you :)

I colored this image with a mix of Prisma pencils and Copics (mice faces). It’s quite big so I didn’t have much space for embelishing around it, so I just used a bit of natural string and ribbon. Dots on the card base are done with white gel pen.

This week’s challenge on HM Monday Challenge blog was a sketch. I really liked it - nice, no too fussy or full.

I colored the image with combination of my few Copic markers (sky, mouses’ faces) and Prisma pencils. I added a layer of Crystal effects on the ice cubes - looks pretty good IRL - hard to see on the image. The ribbon goes around the whole card so you can kind of close it.

This week’s challenge on House Mouse Challenge blog is a sketch. A really nice one I have to say - so I just had to participate - I had the papers already in mind (they are from collection called Pretty Poppies from Autumn Leaves), so I just had to select the right image. I love this one - the mousie with puckered face is so funny. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils, blended with OMS.

This week challenge on Basic Grey Challenge blog was to create something round (not a corner in sight). I need to make a lot of Easter cards so I combined the 2 things together. All the papers are from BG Urban Prairie collection (looks do fresh and spring-y) and the image is House Mouse. Sentiment is from Inkadinkado.  Round enough? ;)

This weeks challenge on House Mouse Challenge blog was to create something for men (the grown up ones). It wasn’t easy as most of HM designs are TOO CUTE for men. I combined this with Monday Challenge on SCS (TLC211) and that was to make a treat purse. I changed the dimensions a bit - well, made it double lenght and filled it with seed packets. It can make a nice spring gift for your gardening neighbour or a gentle reminder for your DH that it’s time for him to help you in the garden ;)

Image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with Sansodor. Papers and the little tag are from SU Simply Scrappin AT HOME kit. The sentiment is from Penny Black’s Garden friends set.

This weeks challenge on House Mouse challenge blog was to use chipboard. Not my favorite thing to do..it usually feels too bulky so I don’t buy it much. But I dug up a sheet of chipboard shapes from a christmas kit and decided to use the frame from it.

The images was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil (not goo gone anymore :) ). The Papers are from BG Lily Kate collection (I love these papers, they feel so nice, fresh and spring-y), card base is Certain Celery CS. Ribbon and flowers cme from my misc. stash.

This week’s challenge on House Mouse Challenge Blog was to create a Mother’s Day Card. I combined this challenge with the sketch challenge on Our Creative Corner  blog.

I had only one image suitable for Mother’s Day so no great science in image choosing. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils, blended with stumps and baby oil.

The Papers are from BG Bittersweet collection, white sheer ribbon from Flourishes (I love this ribbon..so nice and soft) and the sentiment from Inkadinkado.

hmm..it looks a bit more pink than I intended.. but I hope it’s ok ;)

I made this card for House Mouse Challenge #25 and it’s a sketch challenge. You can check it out on their website: House Mouse and friends

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with GooGone. Papers are from Basic Grey Sultry collection and the only change I made was that I flipped the sketch upside down.

This card is for a House Mouse challenge #24 called Tall and Thin - and the title tells all - we had to create a card that’s tall and thin and long and skinny (as it is in my case). The image is stamped on watercolor paper and colored  with dye ink pads and aquapainter. The CS is SU (riding hood red and kiwi kiss) and the DP (don’t know the manufacturer) with apples is embossed and the apples are all glittery - but that’s hard to see on the picture.
