I’m sooo bad, I didn’t post anything in a looong time. Not that I didn’t create - just didn’t have time to sit down and post. So here we come. These 2 are the last holiday cards I made this year. I used Cuddles Kuma Shepard image from Ildi Co. It makes me feel peaceful, so that was the theme of these cards.

They are both easel cards (I fell in love with this kind of cards this season ;) ) and I used Basic Grey Wassail papers and stickers for both of them. Buttons and the ribbon is from Basic Grey too. Which one do you like?

I was baking gingerbread cookies with my kids this weekend and that inspired me to make some kind of gift box for them. I used the Time for Take out template from Timeless Templates (PTI). It’s pretty easy to put together and it’s a good size for couple of cookies. I decorated it with snowflakes from SU Snow swirled set and CHristmas Cocoa DP. I printed a small Gingerbread Girl, colored it with markers, cut it out and adhered it to the front of the box. And since I had all the papers out and more images printed I made a matching card with Ildi Co’s Gingerbread Reindeer. I used a rotated sketch from Sketch Saturday challenge blog.

Ingredients:

Paper: Kraft, Real Red, White CS, SU Christmas Cocoa DP,   Images and Stamps: Ildico - Gingerbread girl, reindeer, SU Snow swirled, SU Christmas greeting,  Ink: Ruby Red,    Tools: Nestabilities Labels, Snowflake border punch, Other: markers, red glitter rhinestoones, ribbon, chocolate brown pearls

I realized I still didn’t upload my Snopals creation I made for the current Ildi Co challenge. The challenge is to be inspired by your favorite Christmas song. I have a LOT of favorite Christmas songs so it was hard to pick only one ;)

For the first creation I decided to be inspired by the song Winter Wonderland - I used Snopals Skate (x2) and decorated the jar. Papers I used are from BG Eskimo Kisses and the CS is Rich Razzleberry (it matches the Eskimo kisses pretty well). I used Mod Podge to adhere the pices to the jar - my first try - but worked pretty well.

Then I made a card inspired by Let it snow song. I used the new freebie image from Ildi Co - it’s super cute and stamps from SU Branched Out set.

The colors for this card are more traditional - Navy, white, gold and touches of red, brown and light blue. I like how  the gold tree turned out. It’s embossed with detail gold EP as are the snowflakes.

The first card is for the current challenge on Basic Grey challenge blog. It’s to use glitz and bling. I use Stickles on Tilda’s wings and rhinestone in the corners. The papers are from the Basic Grey - Eskimo Kisses. collection

The second card is for a November challenge on Stamp Shoppe blog. They are getting into a Christmas mood so the challenge was to use non traditional colors for a Christmas card (no red/green combos).

I picked teal and silver as my main colors and Tilda with present. Tilda is colored with mix of Copics and Prisma pencils. I had this cool clear snowflake from my friend Shana so I covered it with glitter and used it too - I just love bling on Christmas cards ;)

Welcome to “THREE’S A CHARM” blog hop - joint blog hop of Ildi Co, Sunshine Stamps and The Stamping Boutique.  This is my first time participating in a blog hop and I’m super excited! So let’s have some fun!

If you’ve come from Erin’s blog then you’re on the right track, if not start at the beginning here: Sunshine’s Stamps .

Ildi Co is offering the whole set of Snopals to one lucky person, but it will be a mystery whose blog she’ll choose the winner from so it’s important that you comment on every blog to increase your chances of winning! Also she’s are having a buy 2 get a 3rd image free promotion all month.
Sunshine’s Stamps is giving their whole set to a mystery winner too and The Stamping Boutique is offering the Copics, so there will be several chances for people to win some great prizes for this hop!

For my first Snopals card I picked the Snopals Flower image - so cute and girly ;). Just love it.

I colored the snowlady and her flowers with Prisma pencils. I made the flowers look like poinsetias and popped them up. The layout I used is from this week Wednesday Sketch Challenge on SCS. The DP is SU Merry Moments and the sentiment is from Stampin Up too. Then just a couple of silver accents (the silver snowflake brads were originaly white ;) ) and the card is done.

For my second card I decided to use Snopals Skate and layer them in Paint.net so they look like they are racing. I love to play with digi images - make them smaller, bigger, layered them - lots of possibilities.

The skating rink is created with crystal effects with a bit of white Flower Soft around the edges. The DP is from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses collection and the light blue cardstock with a bit of shine is Bazzil - looks perfect on wintery cards.

When you are done head on over to Tracey’s blog for more cool winter projects.

Can you believe it’s that time again - time for another new release from Flourishes and this month it will be one of their BIGGEST releases ever. They have 6… no, it’s not a mistake - 6 new stamp sets to release. And like before every release - there is a challenge. This one is called A Season That Sparkles. So we need to capture the sparkle of the holiday season on a card.

For my card I picked a picture from the Rejoice set from Flourishes. I colored it with Prisma pencils and added some details with a silver pen. Then I paired it with 2 shades of purple Bazzill  cardstock. I love the shimmer on this paper. It’s perfect for this challenge. Then I used Stickles on angel’s wings and added a couple of rhinestones for extra sparkle. The sheer ribbon is from Flourishes too (it’s my favorite)  and the sentiment is from SU.

Here are the cards I made last weekend for VSN Mini on Splitcoaststampers. If you would like to join VSN too, the next Mini will be on October 24 and I’ll be hosting one challenge too. The theme for this VSN is Masquerade

The first challenge was to make a Tri-Shutter card. This card looks complicated but it’s actually only couple of cuts and folds. I used Bernuda Bay CS for the base and Village Christmas by Kinkade (CHF) for the image (Thanks Kristina for this very universal image). The embossed CS with snowflakes is also from Kristina. I embossed the images with hollographic EP before cutting them up, so the are all nice and sparkly ;) Sentiment is from SU

The Second challenge was to use the Chalkboard technique. If you never tried it (like me) here is the link to a SCS tutorial. I used Asian Influences stamps from Inkadinkado, and my really old chalks. I had only a couple of chalks so had to match the colors of CS to it.

The third challenge was to use the Rock’n roll technique. I don’t have many solid stamps so had to think for a while what to use. Then I remembered my new Delightful Decoration stamp set and the new In Colors from SU. The stamps are great for this technique. I used Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry inks. The base is Melon Mambo too.

This is the biggest project I ever made :) I’ve planning to do this for a long time and finally gather up enough courage, supplies and time to make it.  Rachel from Wonderful Whimsy made a wonderful easy to follow tutorial.

For my box I used SU Merry Moments Designer Papers and from it I picked the cardstock colors - Real Red, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. For embelishments I used various ribbons, rhinestones and brads.

And a view from a different angle:

This is a great project for those long fall/winter evenings as it requires lot of cutting, scoring, folding and gluing - I did it while watching TV ;)

I pulled out my new SU goodies and finally started to play with them. I used the hostess set from the Holiday Mini - Patterned Pines and Merry Moments DP - so I picked the other colors accordingly.

I will probably make couple more of these and make a set in a nice A2 box. Nice little Christmas gift.

The first one is actually a  CASE  from the Mini. I stamped, embossed the pines and used the same layout as it is in the Mini. Base is Old Olive CS. The greeting is from a Martha Stewart christmas set, ribbon is from my Secret Sister - Kristina ;) It goes great with these papers.

The second card has the same layout, just the pines are embossed in Gold EP, the base is Real Red. The sentiment is from SU (it’s Many Merry Messages I think), chocolate ribbon is from a local “dry goods” store. The gold dew drops are again from my Secret Sister.

The third layout is just slightly different, with one pine and some punched out snowflakes. The sentiment is again SU.

The weather is so hot and muggy, I just want to think about something cool - what better time to make some Christmas cards. I really like this image from SU Home for Christmas set and I finally got my hands on some new SU Designer Paper so I decided to make them in non-traditional colors.

For the first one I used SU Cottage wall papers, the base is Orchid Opulence CS, the ribbons are Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. The image is colored with markers, inks and aquapainter. I added a bit of glitter on the greenery and the tree - just hard to see on the image. The sentiment is from SU Christmas Punch set.

The second one has a similar layout, I just used Holiday Lounge DP and matching colors for coloring the image. The base is Ruby Red CS and the sentiment is from Home for Christmas too.
